For all his 60 years in the business, Ernie Andrews’s debonair charm and rich voice still manage to move audiences to a standing ovation.  His tunes, which have been recorded alongside the jazz greats Gene Harris, Cannonball Adderly, Ray Brown, Kenny Burrell, and others reflect his warm personality and life experience.

His performance at LACMA blended disarming humor and wit, and got the audience (young and old) to dance. His quick wit was apparent even in the short interview he gave to Indie Hotspot following the performance. When asked how he chooses his songs, he paused a second, and with infinite charm said, “I do what I do.” And he does it well!
