Agenda Foundation invites L.A. Jazz fans to Indie Hotspot Jazz Series with Kaylene Peoples and the All-Star Orchestra, performing 60’s jazz favorites on Friday, September 28, at House of Blues Foundation Room Parish, at 9 pm. The performance benefits Agenda Foundation’s film-making program for foster youth.
The All-Star Orchestra, a high-caliber group of talented musicians whose individual accomplishments and careers are very impressive, includes Vashon Johnson on Bass, Kevin Flournoy on Piano, Mark Hammond on Guitar, and Tony Moore on Drums.
Indie Hotspot Jazz Series connects L.A. jazz fans with the best in new and established jazz talent. Its past concerts have featured actor/singer Chase Masterson, actor/singer Jay Jackson, bassist Del Atkins, drummer Cory Mason, guitarist Jeff Chayette, and saxophonist Dave Pell, attracting celebrity attendees that include Hubert Laws, William Jeffrey, Bill A. Jones, and others. Launched in 2006 by Agenda Magazine, Indie Hotspot promotes the most promising rising, and established talent in music, art, film, and fashion with high-caliber events and red-carpet media exposure.
